Public Management and Leadership
Welcome to the Department of Public Management and Leadership, a vibrant department in the Faculty of Arts at the Nelson Mandela University.
The department offers undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications that are internationally and locally recognised. The qualifications at the undergraduate are the Bachelor of Administration and the National Diploma in Public Management. These qualifications equip students with knowledge of public administration and management. The postgraduate qualifications include Advanced Diploma in Public Management, Honours in Public Administration, Masters in Public Administration (by coursework and by dissertation) and DPhil. (Public Administration).
The Department has experienced and highly qualified academic staff who also assist in offering short learning programmes to the appointed and elected government and municipal officials for its Raymond Mhlaba Research Unit.
